Women's Leather Backpacks

Our women’s leather backpacks bring together genuine leather and faux leather styles for everyday use in town, at the office and on your travels. Of the 37 styles, 26 are faux leather (polyurethane, microfibre or PVC), 10 are genuine leather (cowhide, lambskin, sheepskin, oiled cowhide or split leather) and 1 combines cowhide with PU. A style’s name does not tell you which, so check the material listed in the specifications of each product page.

Women’s leather backpacks for work and a laptop

About one in five styles is made to hold a laptop, several with a padded compartment or a divider, and four state a compatible laptop size, from 14 to 16 inches. Several smaller styles are sized for a 10-inch tablet, a notebook and a purse. For a women’s leather laptop backpack, check the compatible laptop size on the product page, as the outer dimensions do not confirm the space inside.

Small leather backpacks and convertible styles

A few small and mini styles carry just the essentials, and several styles can also be worn on the shoulder or across the body. For a small leather backpack, compare the stated dimensions, as not every product page gives them.

Black, brown and other colours

Most styles come in black and about two thirds in brown, so a black leather backpack is easy to find here. Other colours include navy, green, grey, beige, purple and burgundy, depending on the style.

How to choose a leather backpack for women

Start with the main material, then look at the fastening and the inside pockets when the product page describes them. Check the lining too, as it can be made from a different material to the outside. For comfort, go by the straps and handle described for the style, and use the close-up photos to spot the openings and pockets.
